Importing an Excel File

You can import any Excel data file into the system. Before you import, you will have to first create custom fields in the CRM that may not already be in our system. For example, we have a field for "birthday" for a contact, but we don't have a field for "Medical Insurance Carrier". You would have to create this field first before importing. Go into Excel and make sure that the row has the names of the data in each column, like first_name and phone. When you upload the Excel file, the CRM will try to map your fields to the default fields in the CRM. If we don't have the fields in the CRM, you must click IGNORE.
